One group needed to travel more while global travel slowed to a standstill: healthcare workers. The need for traveling physicians and nurses has increased as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The following situations are very particular to traveling healthcare professionals: Hospital stays last 13 weeks on average, and patients must be close to hospitals and care facilities, making location crucial. These requirements are not met by any current platform, and the ones that are too expensive. This market has a lot of potential. Studies predict that their market share, which was $6 billion in 2020, will grow over the next few years. This startup fills that need.
To connect homeowners and traveling healthcare professionals, our client founded a startup. Though the concept was clear, she was dealing with personal difficulties.
The client used the internet to educate herself on everything she needed to know for her new position as the CEO of her business.
It was challenging for her to find the resources she needed to educate herself, but she eventually came across Venture Suite. Finding trustworthy sources was also important; it wasn’t just about finding them. She emphasizes that “getting the Venture Suite account actually helped her tremendously.”
Because of her busy schedule and her position as team leader for a tech company, she had little time to concentrate on the pitch deck. The guidance provided by the Expert Network was immediately helpful. She started by trying to cram as much material as she could onto the deck. She had a problem because she wasn’t sure what the needs of the deck were in reality.
“[The expert’s name] would suggest specific themes with them. Then, she says, they’d either give you the expert reasoning or explain why they didn’t include X slide. They are aware of what investors are seeking when they are creating a pitch deck thanks to their experience, their work with so many other small businesses, and the sheer number of businesses that Venture Suite works with.” She continued.
As a result, the client found our deck useful for upcoming investors. First, they reviewed the deck, and at the time of this article’s writing, she had nine investors scheduled for meetings.
In her words, “People are displaying our deck to others as we expand our network and share it with them.” They are reaching out now and include doctors, nurses, and individuals interested in real estate deals, she continues.
For the following steps, the pitch deck is also crucial. In the case of our client, for instance, she makes contact with investors and venture capitalists using the pitch deck despite possible restrictions.
